QIOS Pelican can be used in several licensing modes. Choose the mode that suits you best, depending on your needs and and e-mail content type; commercial use always requires a valid license.

Licensing modes

  • Mode 1 - Free and Unregistered (non commerial use only)
This is the mode QIOS Pelican runs in when you first start it. In this mode, you are allowed to send e-mails without any commercial purposes and the QIOS Pelican support line will always be included in your e-mail. This mode does not have enabled the high speed features and is not supported by our Servicedesk.

  • Mode 2 - Free and Registered (non-commercial use only)
When you register your copy of QIOS Pelican, you can send e-mails with increased speed. See menu Help / Register free version. Commercial use is not allowed. When you have registered with a valid e-mail address you are entitled to be supported by our Servicedesk.

  • Mode 3 - Activated, for high speed and/or commercial use
If you need to use QIOS Pelican for commercial purposes or like to use the high speed features, then QIOS Pelican needs to be activated. When activated, you can disable the QIOS Pelican support line, send e-mails at high speed over multiple threads with zero delay and you are entitled to be supported by our Servicedesk.

All modes use the same software. In which mode you operate QIOS Pelican depends only on registering or activating your software.
